Refugees need support against racist prosecution in Arnstadt, East Germany.
Public prosecutor’s office accused the victims of racist attacks as the perpetrators.
Three africans Fopa George, (Cameroon) Patterson Kenwou (Cameroon) and John Adana (Sierra Leone) are being charged in Court of Arnstadt in Thueringen, Germany
On the 3rd and 10th of June 2004, both hearings at 13 p.m. there will be the trial against three Africans in the district court of Arnstadt, they are been accused of grievous bodily harm.
The grounds of the trial go back more than three years. In the year 2000, in the night from 21st to 22nd October the three African asylum seekers, who were living in the GU (refugee home “heim”) in Arnstadt at that time, and their two female German friends were followed in cars, insulted and later attacked by Germans. In this situation they tried to defend themselves. The police whom asylum seekers had called to rescue them from the attack collaborated with the German racist perpetrators to intimidate them for prosecution
