The Name: This Protest Note Called 10th December Note.
The General Topic: The main issue of this note is the Systemic human rights violations of refugees by German Authority.
Specific Topics:
Situation of Sudanese Refugees in Germany (State of Lower Saxony as an example).
Situation of Refugees in the whole of Germany.
The text of the Note:
The honorable United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees
Geneva, Switzerland
On behalf of refugees and asylum seekers in Germany, Sudanese asylum seekers and refugees in Lower Saxony, The VOICE Refugee Forum, and the Caravan network, I introduce this protest note.
We condemn, denounce, and reject the inhuman treatment of refugees and asylum seekers in Germany by the governments at different levels in Germany.
We are all shocked, surprised and angry, because the German government has deceptively shifted the whole asylum concept from its humanitarian and legal space into the corridors of politics where refugees and asylum seekers have become their whipping boys. And it uses a number of shameful tools to bring the asylum applicant from Sudan to any of the three fatal options below.
To accept the model of slow life loses and deaths here in Germany, while him/her, is awaiting the first or second, etc, instance(s) decision of his/her asylum application.
To surrender, and choose to go back home (voluntary return), and accept the model of rapid life loses and deaths there in Sudan without any protection.
To try improving his/her life by hook or crock which may lead him/her to fall in illegal and criminalized zones of activities through which further persecution will be justified.
Germany does this through a number mechanism depending on the tools they choose to employ and the specific circumstances of the applicant:
National German laws and regulations.
European political and legal Support (Dublin Regulations agreement).
UNHCR (in Berlin) disability, Carelessness and Silence.
Psychological War against refugees (Mental isolation).
Physical, mental and material isolation. (Isolation of refugees from normal societies and maintain us as exiles within the society).
The Honorable High Commissioner, we as refugees and asylum seekers in Germany are:
Isolated
Detained
Psychologically tortured
Threatened
Abused
Repressed and intimidated
Persecuted
The Honorable High Commissioner, we appeal to you, Do not stay in your office, and say: I have nothing to do, although I know human rights of refugees in Germany is big zero, as your representative in Germany do, or stay and say: we have a functioning system with just sending fax, making phone calls, and sending emails. We call you to rise up to your mandate, come and visit us refugees and asylum seekers camps in:
Alte Peiner Heerstr – (Niedersachsen)
Bramsche – (Niedersachsen)
Zella Mehlis – (Thüringen)
Fallersleben – (Niedersachsen)
Breitenworbis - (Thüringen)
Gerstungen – (Thüringen) amongst others to see for yourself, our plight.
In these camps, you will find examples that are more like crimes against humanity than the international protection from mental and physical abuses, daily and systemic violation of our rights and the humanitarianism that is the basis of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Convention. We are not “crying wolf”- come and see with your own eyes.
The Honorable Higher Commissioner, we are fighting politically against all these and we have very simple and clear demands, we call for:
Granting refugees in Germany our human rights according to what had been written in the universal declaration of human rights.
Breaking isolation of refugees, and closing all isolated refugees camps, especially those mentioned above, Alte Peiner Heerstr, Bramsche, Zella Mehlis, Fallersleben, Breitenworbis and Gerstungen.
Abolish all kind of institutional repression against refugees.
Stop immediately inhuman forced deportation of refugees.
Abolish the National Socialist inspired Residenzpflicht in Germany
Honorable High Commissioner, in May 2011, the Sudanese asylum seekers submitted a note of a protest addressing the same issues to your representation in Berlin.
Honorable higher commissioner, our legal, simple and clear demands are totally neglected by the German government. We hope we get your attention and care with adequate response.
