Dépôt d'une plainte internationale après épuisement des recours nationaux. Sankara était un panafricaniste internationaliste.
Il a oeuvré pour un développement autocentré durable promouvant prioritairement la justice social avec une emphase pour le droit des femmes, des ruraux et des pauvres.
A l'heure de la mondialisation déshumanisante, son exemple et sa contribution pour un développement intègre et responsable méritent d'être rappelés.
A LEGAL PRECEDENT AGAINST IMPUNITY IN AFRICA
The international Justice for Sankara Campaign has filed a complaint with the United nations after having exhausted all recourses inside Burkina Faso. Sankara was a panafricanist and an internationalist.
He strove for self - directed and sustainable development that prioritized women, peasants and the poor, where social justice would be the bulwark of a new truly decolonized Burkina Faso. In the present era of dehumanizing globalization, his example and contribution to a development defined by honesty and accountability should serve to remind us that there are alternatives.

Gedenkveranstaltung anlässlich des 20. Todestages von Thomas Sankara Der Name Thomas Sankara steht für Unbestechlichkeit, gute Regierungsführung und vor allem für Entwicklung aus eigener Kraft.
Anlässlich seines 20. Todestages laden die Flüchtlingsinitiative Brandenburg, AfricAvenir und Toucouleur am den 15. Oktober 2007 ab 18.00 Uhr zu einer Gedenkveranstaltung im A17 (Admiralstr. 17, U-Bhf Kottbusser Tor. Gezeigt werden drei Dokumentationen: „Thomas Sankara“ des kongolesischen Regisseurs Balufu Bakupa-Kanyinda, „Brudermord in Burkina – Thomas Sankara und die Françafrique“ von Didier Mauro und Thuy-Tiên Ho und „Thomas Sankara – Der afrikanische Che“ von Robin Shuffield, alle im Original mit engl./dt.
