Around 800 people participate in a spontaneous protest rally for jailed refugees and activists, who were arrested during a protest action at midday in Berlin. Riot police violently tried to stop the legally registered demonstration, but were overrun.

The International MIGRANTS Alliance Europe section strongly condemns the police brutality of the German police against refugee-protesters and their advocates, and the arrest of about 30 of them, while holding a protest at the Nigerian embassy in Berlin, today October 15, 2012.
The refugees and their advocates are justly protesting the Nigerian government's role in the brutal deportations of African Refugees, and demand the cancellation of all deportation agreements with the German State.
