Pauschalverdächtige zu Gast bei Feinden
9 Mitglieder der Flüchtlingsinitiative Brandenburg waren heute Morgen auf dem Weg zu einer antirassistischen Konferenz in Hamburg.
Auf dem Hauptbahnhof Berlin wurden sie von der Bundespolizei angehalten und eine Personalienkontrolle durchgeführt. Auf Rückfrage, warum gerade sie kontrolliert werden, wurde ihnen sinngemäß geantwortet, dass dies so sei, weil sie Ausländer sind. Zur Sicherung der WM gäbe es jetzt viele Kontrollen, da viele “Illegale” nach Deutschland eingereist sind.
Nach Rückfragen der Antirassistischen Initiative Berlin über die Ursache der rassistischen Kontrolle bei der verantwortlichen Pressesprecherin Polizeioberrätin Hartmann, antwortete diese sinngemäß: Wir kontrollieren nach Hautfarbe und wenn jemand nicht Deutsch spricht. So beginnen unsere Kontrollen, da die Wahrscheinlichkeit bei solchen Leuten größer ist, dass sie irgendeine Straftat begangen haben.
Wir, die Flüchtlingsinitiative Brandenburg und die Antirassistische Initiative Berlin verurteilen diesen Generalverdacht aufs Schärfste. Schon am zweiten Tag der Fußball WM zeichnet es sich ab, dass die Menschen, die hier in Deutschland leben und nicht dem rassistischen Bild des “ordnungsgemäßen Bürger” (weiß und deutsch) entsprechen, pauschal verdächtig sind und sich unter Feinden befinden.

An Overall Suspicion of Guests by German Enemies:
Nine members of the organisation, Flüchtlingsinitiative Brandenburg were today controlled on their way to an anti racist conference in Hamburg by the German border police officers because they are ” foreign looking” and could not speak German. The control took place at the Berlin main train station (Hauptbahnhof Berlin).
When the members of this organisation asked the police why the control, the police officers answered that it must be like that since they are foreigners. The police continued, to institute security for the world cup, there are so many controls since many “illegal” people have entered Germany.
When the Anti Racist Initiative Berlin heard of the control and contacted the police, the speaker of the police, Mrs. Hartmann answered in her logic that they control in relation to skin colour and when one does not speak German. It is from these reasons that we commence since the probability is very high that they have committed a crime.
We members of the Flüchtlingsinitiative Brandenburg and Anti Racist Initiative Berlin strongly condemn this overall suspicion of “foreign looking people or those who cannot speak German. Already on the second day of the world cup qualifying matches, it is portrayed that people who live in Germany are sweepingly suspected as criminals if they are not white.
