Last night there was a police raid in the initial reception center, Doberlug-Kirchhain to find and deport asylum-seekers who had a Dublin problem to France. More than 20 people were deported from this camp as well as other Heims. 3 families and many single people were deported to France in a mass deportation action on a bus. We heard that 3 individuals went into panic attack episodes and needed immediate medical help.
Some refugees tried to raise awareness in the camp and talk with the police to stop the action. Today more than 60 refugees started a protest in the camp and moved outside to continue their protest in front of the Auslanderbehorde office. The angry refugees called for stopping deportations, opening the borders and stopping over-night police operations in refugee camps.
We should remember that this is the German law that allows for mass deportations and nightly militarization of the camps. These laws need to change for better and we believe that only those who are directly affected by these laws can be able to change them. We support lawful protests of refugees and asylum-seekers throughout Germany and we will not stop till we get resolutions.

Statement and Call of Refugee Selforganisation in Brandenburg :
We, the exiled refugees and asylum-seekers living in Doberlug-Kirchhain Red Cross refugee camp, have fled war, destruction, dictatorship and economic difficulties in our homelands and asked for asylum in Germany. But our life has become more complicated in Germany since BAMF claims ultimate control over the asylum-seekers’ life and limits all sorts of movement.
