In this session, one could learn about the first and oldest refugee autonomous political activism in Germany, initiated in the later years of the last Century, going through the present generation. The VOICE Refugee Forum was founded in Mühlhäusen Forest in 1994 to empower the Refugee Communities engaging in political self-determined actions in the struggle against the injustices of white supremacy, its ideological and political cultures of oppression, discrimination, paternalism, racism, sexism, deportations and social exclusion, exploitation, colonialism and neocolonialism.

It is important to remember that many refugees have successfully protested all forms of isolation and deportation and fought for freedom of movement through The VOICE Refugee Forum network.
