THE VOICE REFUGEE FORUM – A Nationwide Campaign and Network:
Activity report and call for support!
Since the announcement of the International Refugee Tribunal during the BREAK ISOLATION SUMMER CAMP in Erfurt (End of August to beginning of September 2012) The VOICE REFUGEE FORUM embarked on the campaign to break the isolation of refugees in the lagers as our primary mission in the community to strengthen our solidarity and the testimonies against the crimes and the abuses of refugees by the German government authorities as well as around Europe.
https://thevoiceforum.org/node/2795
We would like to let you know, that The VOICE REFUGEE FORUM hosted the KARAWANE FESTIVAL in Jena 2010 to empower the campaign network of the BREAK ISOLATION to end the lager regime and to highlight our struggle against colonial injustice in memory of the victims of the border regimes and the European border control agency called FRONTEX. The Tribunal was first proposed from the first conference on Unite against Colonial Injustice in 2009 in Jena.

A nationwide community of Refugees and activists in Germany met together during the BREAK ISOLATION CAMP in Erfurt to organise the structure /logistics and the campaign of the PROTEST MARCH (https://thevoiceforum.org/node/2683) and the Protest Bus from Würzburg to Berlin with the refugee activists of The VOICE REFUGEE FORUM. Also the protest against the Nigerian Embassy Deportation and against FRONTEX was coordinated during the camp. We also decided to set the date of the tribunal and the preparation during the BREAK ISOLATION CAMP in Erfurt. Part of our agenda was also the protest against police brutality in collaboration with the Nigerian Government Embassy during the protest camp in Berlin in october 2012.(https://thevoiceforum.org/node/3007)
Since the beginning of the Tribunal’s preparations, refugee activists from other regions have embraced the BREAK ISOLATION CAMPAIN for Refugee Community Agenda in Thüringen, Niedersachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Berlin, Brandenburg, Baden-Württemberg, Hamburg, NRW and Rheinland-Pfalz.
From Thüringen, Baden-Württenberg, Berlin, Niedersachsen and Sachsen-Anhalt we are coordinating our network with refugee communities around Germany, mobilizations and preparation for the tribunal. The refugee liberation bus tour in Baden-Württemberg and Niedersachsen wasspontaneously organized to reaffirm our efforts to intensify the daily struggles of The VOICE Refugee Forum and of refugee community activists in Germany. We want to bring into focus the chains of protest in refugee lagers and camps for the empowerment of our solidarity: To break the isolation in the lagers and empower the collective vision, to strengthen the unity of the refugee struggles against colonial injustice of the German state and the authorities. https://thevoiceforum.org/node/3087
We are documenting and informing the refugees about the INTERNATIONAL TRIBUNAL in Berlin which will take place 13th -16th June. The Tribunal will become the first testimony to the historical struggles, protest and strikes of the refugees and will take collective actions against the
repressive crimes committed by the German state and the authorities. http://www.refugeetribunal.org
We are undertaking the next steps to break the chains of isolation in the lagers and the social exclusion and the exploitation of refugees in Germany within the wider network of the BREAK ISOLATION CAMPAIGN and the CARAVAN for the RIGHTS of REFUGEES and MIGRANTS.
