CARAVAN FESTIVAL appeal
to all Sculptors and installation Artists who feel connected to human rights and the fight against racism

Our central Concern is to install a Lasting Monument in the City of jena. A Monument which will serve the purpose of remembering those Victims of the inhuman Policies of the Fortress Europe in general. The Monument shall also stand as a appreciation to the continuous resistance of Refugees and Migrants in all Predating Countries like Germany and the many others.
We appeal for Artists to render their Solidarity with us and the entire victims of the Cruel Policies of Germany and its Collaborators. We welcome Artistic statements of expression against the Prevailing Colonial Powers, injustice and degrading Structures.
The monument should be a form of sculpture Work or an Installation that stands as an open concept made during the festival together with the Festival Visitors. The choice of material is entirely up to the interested Contributing Artist.
A Panel consisting of representatives from the Festival Organising Workgroup will decide amongst all Presented Proposal and project the Monument that will be used Prior to or during the Festival. Morealso, the Festival intends to present an exhibition of all submitted Proposals.
We Shall undertake all Cost of Materials needed to produce an Artistic symbol or Sculptor work. However, we cannot guarantee a Constant spot of the Monument in the City of jena but We are working out to see that possibility as well as an alternative Concept.
