The Bus tour call out
We, the refugees, protesting the horrible situation of asylum-seekers in Germany, continuing our battles up to now, , have started our trip from Wuerzburg in the State Bavaria to Berlin, in order to achieve our demands and invite the other asylum-seekers to gather in Berlin.
We are heading for Berlin in order to:
1) Abolish the inhumane deportation law. Because we believe that the choice of the place to live is just based on the free will of a person and not on the political decisions of governments.
2) Close the asylum camps. Because we can't kkep on seeing our friends and roommates die in the camps that objectify and publicize discrimination and humiliation.
3) Abolish the quartiering "Law" because we believe that the freedom of movement is one of the most basic rights of any person. the insisting of the government on executing this false law is in order to make the asylum-seekers a self-prisoner scout.
On September 8th 2012, a group of asylum-seekers have started their trip from Wuerzburg to Berlin, on foot: a distance of 600 kilometers which will take approximately one month, to let everyone hear their protest to such shameful laws in an apparently "democratic" country.
In the mean time of the protest march, a bus carrying the protesters and independent activists has started its trip on another course covering the west and north of Germany. The objective here is to introduce this protest to more cities. The bus on this second route will stop in different cities and while organizing the rooms for sleeping and eating for the protesters, they will go to asylum camps in order to meet the asylum-seekers of each region and describe this movement so that more and more asylum-seekers can join this movement.
The movement is organized by the asylum-seekers themselves and is independent to any political party or organization. As such, the interested asylum-seekers can join the bus and drive all the way through the cities together, joining the asylum-seekers who have arrived in Berlin by foot. This joining can be a new era of united protest in Berlin to reach the demands of the asylum-seekers.
Not only for me, or you, but for us
it's been 6 months that we have moved out of the camps in which we were just trying to survive and decided not to give up our battles until closing down the camps and abolishing the movement restrictions. It's time that we, the asylum-seekers, as those who face the inhuman laws, that are demolishing our today and our tomorrow, participate hand in hand in a mass protest. We, the participants of the bus ask the asylum-seekers reading this statement to spread this announce and join us in the battle, free of nationality, gender, color, culture and language, so that in Berlin, we altogether will provide a better situation for asylum-seekers.
The bus will stop at the following locations on its way to Berlin:
Würzburg 8.9 / Frankfurt 9.9. / Frankfurt 10.9 / Mainz-Wiesbaden 11.9 / Kassel 12.9 / Köln 13.9 / Bonn 14.9 / Düsseldorf 15.9. / Düsseldorf 16.9. / Duisburg 17.9 / Bochum 18.9 / Bochum 19.9 / Bielefeld 20.9 / Bielefeld 21.9 / Münster 22.9 / Osnabrück 23.9 / Hildesheim 24.9 / Braunschweig 25.9 / Wolfsburg 26.9 / Bremen 27.9 / Oldenburg 28.9. / Hamburg 29.9. / Hamburg 30.9. / Kiel 1.10. / Lübeck 2.10. / Rostock 3.10. / Berlin 4.10.
