Dear friends and activists,
Below the invitation for 2nd Nationwide Caravan meeting for the preparation of the Refugee Tribunal 2013 which will take place on the 13th to 16th of June in Berlin.
On our first preparation meeting we discussed the aims and contents of the Tribunal, developed a proposal of how to present testimonies and charges, defined the coordination comitees, proposed a calendar of activities and mobilization actions and pointed the Oranienplatz Camp as the choice of place for the Tribunal.
A detailed description of the 1st preparation meeting can be found in the Protocol.
Suggested topics for this next meeting are:
Mobilization for the Tribunal:
development of a mobilization plan and a timeline. How can each activist participate. how can each activist start collecting testimonies and charges to be presented in the Tribunal.
Further development of the Tribunal's program. Topics already suggested are:
1st day: Germany's foreign policy: we are here because you destroy our countries, Frontex.
2nd day: Germany's war against refugees within Germany itself, Deportation, Residenzpflicht, Lager policy, Police Brutality.
3rd day: resistance and struggle, solidarity structures versus separation and division, perspectives on how the world could look like from our understanding without wars and exploitation.

According to what was previously agreed, we propose the following agenda:

Brief status of the tribunal preparation

each group and person named in the last protocol could give an overview
2nd part of the meeting:
small groups work on:
content, political inputs
tribunal format: testimonies, cultural, program
mobilization: material, communication between the meetings, skype, email etc.
infrastructure berlin: what is needed.

Liebe FreundInnen und AktivistInnenen,
Unten findet ihr die Einladung zum zweiten Bundesweiten Karawanetreffen zur Vorbereitung des Flüchtligstribunals 2013.
Beim ersten Vorbereitungstreffen hatten wir über die Ziele und Inhalte des Tribunals diskutiert, Vorschläge über die Zeugenaussagen und Anklagen gebracht, die Koordinationsausschüsse bestimmt, die Erstellung eines Zeitplans für Aktivitäten und Mobilisierung vorgeschlagen und das Protestcamp am Oranienplatz Camp als Ort festgelegt.
Details über das erste Vorbereitungstreffen können dem Protokoll entnommen werden.
Themenvorschläge für die nächste Sitzung sind:
Mobilisierung für das Tribunal:
Entwicklung eines Plans und eines Terminkalenders für die Mobilisierung. Wie können alle AktivistInnen mitmachen, wie können alle TeilnehmerInnen Zeugenaussagen und Anklagen, die beim Tribunal vorgestellt werden sollen, zusammenbringen?
Weiterentwicklung des Tribunalprogramms. Bereits vorgeschlagene Themen sind:
erster Tag: deutsche Außenpolitik: Wir sind hier, weil ihr unsere Länder zerstört, Frontex.
zweiter Tag: Deutschlands Krieg gegen Flüchtlinge innerhalb der deutschen Grenzen, Deportation, Residenzpflicht, Lager-Politik.
dritter Tag: Widerstand und Kampf, Solidaritätsstrukturen gegen Trennung und Teilung, Perspektiven, wie die Welt unserer Meinung nach sein könnte, ohne Krieg und Ausbeutung.

Entsprechend unseren Vereinbarungen, schlagen wir folgende Tagesordnung vor:
Erster Teil des Treffens:
Begrüßung (durch Berlin-Gruppe)
Vorstellungsrunde
Einführung in die Tagesordnung
Kurzer Bericht über Stand der Vorbereitung
was wurde bereits getan?
was muss noch gemacht werden?
Die im letzten Protokoll erwähnten Personen und Gruppen können berichten.
Zweiter Teil des Treffens:
kleinere Gruppen arbeiten über:
Inhalte, politische Themen
Format: Zeugenberichte, Kulturelles, Programm
Mobilisierung: Material, die Kommunikation zwischen den Sitzungen, skype, E-Mail usw.
Infrastruktur Berlin: was wird gebraucht?
Bitte gibt bei The VOICE Berlin: the_voice_berlin@emdash.org Bescheid, falls ihr am Vorbereitungstreffen teilnehmen möchtet. So können wir rechtzeitig das Social Center (in der besetzten Schule) darüber informieren, wie viele Schlafplätze wir brauchen.
Bitte diskutiert und bereitet Weiteres für das bevorstehende Treffen in Berlin 12/13 Januar 2013 vor.
