DEPORTATION CANCELLED AGAIN !
Antonio has been taken of the plane in order of the pilot, this morning at Brussels Airport.
How Antonio continues to fight for his life.
Contrary to earlier reports, the actual reason why the deportation of Antonio has not been operated this morning is a very different story than was at first thought. Not the phone- and mail- campaign has moved Brussels Airlines into this action but Antonio himself.
And it was not the Brussels Airlines which took the decision not to deport Antonio Mavinga but the pilot. Read more what was happening Thursday, September 11, 2014 aboard SN359, just before the plane was going to depart.
On Wednesday night September 10 it became clear that Antonio was going to be transferred the next morning, to 'just' being transported to Brussels. To be set on another plane to Luanda/Angola. The country that had tortured him before. So then the last option was discussed, the last chance to prevent the deportation had Antonio in his own hands. At least he would attempt to do so.
In the last telephone conversation that Occupy had late Wednesdaynight, with Antonio, Antonio already indicated that he would scream and shout to move and to persuade the passengers not to carry him to his homecountry to get the attention of the other passengers to call the pilot once aboard . We told him that this is a serious option, but that courage and perseverance is needed in doing this.. In this itetephoneconversation we had , his love for his children came up. Thinking of his children, he would hum and noise as much as possible to make his deportation problematic for a save flight according to the pilot.. And so it happened.
He was going to scream and his story has been shouted out loud over the heads of the passengers while the military police tried him to shut up.. In full of horror, several fellow passengers then stood up of their seats and offended the military guards of Antonio in words. They called them racists. Telling them they were acting simply obeying orders of the racist state. . That you can not treat people like that and that they are implementing racist policies, that if they do so then they are racists themselves. It emerged as a very hostile atmosphere in the plane. In desperation, the pilot then decided to pick up Antonio out the of plane because he could insure the safety of the flight furthermore..
So Antonio should thank nobody who has contributed, but himself and his fellow passengers to this action. What a brave man Antonio is.
Still, the international support has had its effort worthwhile : For sure it has given Antonio the strength to act at the very last moment to stand up for his life. So thank you all.
Amsterdam! INTERNATIONAL CALL OUT FOR ACTION USING PHONE OR INTERNET TO STOP DEPORTATION BEFORE TOMORROW
