Which VOICE?
What a beautiful name is Voice. It is also the name of an Iranian girl (Neda=voice) was killed by Islamic Republic of Iran during upraise of people on 2009 in an attempt to force people to be silent. And if you remember it is also the ability of human enabled us to learn talking with each other during the working process.
Voice who is one of the founders of Caravan for the rights of refugees and migrants is a militant organization fighting against injustice. It is 20 years old and mainly composes of the people who are criticizing the unjust. Although there are now and then some few that doesn’t like this.
Some new arrived refugees, although they know what means resistance, asking: “what are the achievements of these 20 years?” In spite of many successes that Voice has gained like closing some isolation campus or stopping deportation… still these people see the order of this country is the same. By this they want to say it is useless, this is our fate!! No this judgment is wrong. To die in expansionists and reactionaries wars, suffering starvation, unemployment, inferiority…is not our fate. It needs time through talking, fighting against reactionaries and communicating with each other to understand the meaning of conscious resistance and building a better world for us and our children.
Those who are running the world, including the rulers of this country doesn’t like the awareness of the people, by force und demagogy they try to break our will. Religion is one of their main tools. By belief you cannot find the reality, you cannot cooperate with those that having another believes. To find the reality that is in the favor of oppressed, in favor of refugees, we should respect the other people, communicate with them and study the things through scientific methods. Reactionaries don’t like this. Look what are going under the rule of Islamic Republic of Iran, Islamic rulers of Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, Egypt, Afghanistan, Palestine or Zionist of Israel… Very clearly you see the inferiority and slavery of women, not or very little tolerance about other kinds of idea… The big powers had helped arouse of religious forces and are supporting them. While they benefit through these dirty wars around the world, we the people are the only victims of it.
The logic of the rulers is different from people. Remember the murder of Oury jalloh a young African refugee in Dessau, burned alive in police jail. All what they try, was to cover and hide it by talking about suicide, mistake, compromise, compensate, or punishment. On the contrary Voice was trying to expose the reality of that crime. Why this mostly and repeatedly happen for refugees, especially for black community. And should add to it why it happens against young people like Michel Brown in US?? You see while the rulers pretend to observe humanity and unity of people and repeating the words like JUSTIC, NATIONAL WILL, RELIGIOUS DELIVERANCE… in reality they do the crime and dividing the people. Making some of them inferior, even slave. This system is stinking. Vice versa, we know that human race is international and can live together in mutual respect and cooperation.
Our power is in our unity. To unite we should be aware of reality and according to this knowledge trying hand in hand building a better world. Celebrating 20 years “resistance of Voice”, means respecting a struggle for building a better world.
