KARAWANE-Festival 2010 - In Gedenken an die Toten der Festung Europa

Vorbereitungstreffen in Berlin

Ende 11. April 2010 um 15:00 Uhr
Freundinnen und Freunde,
hiermit wollen wir euch noch einmal zum 2. Bundesweite Vorbereitungstreffen für das KARAWANE-Festival 2010 in Jena nach Berlin einladen.
Im Anschluss findet ihr das Programm des Vorbereitungstreffens sowie das vorläufige Programm des Festivals. Ziel des Berliner Treffens ist es neben inhaltlichen Diskussionen das Programm des Festivals gemeinsam mit allen Beteiligten Menschen, Gruppen und Netzwerke abzustimmen, die offenen Punkte zu diskutieren, den Stand der Vorbereitungen zu reflektieren und das weitere Vorgehen gemeinschaftlich zu planen.
Einige Gruppen haben ihre Teilnahme bereits bestätigt, aber um die Organisierung für die Berliner Freundinnen und Freunde zu erleichtern, wäre es schön zeitnah eine Rückmeldung an die unten genannten Kontakte zu geben, mit wie vielen Personen ihr am Treffen teilnimmt. Bitte denkt daran, Schlafsäcke mitzubringen.

herewith we want to invite you to Berlin to the nationwide preparatory meeting for the CARAVAN Festival 2010 in Jena.
Please find below the program for the 2nd Nationwide Preparations Meeting in Berlin and the preliminary program of the festival. Beside political discussions it is aim of the meeting in Berlin to discuss the open points and issues, to reflect the status of the preparation, to finalize the program of the festival and plan the future steps together with all involved participants, groups and networks.
Some groups have already confirmed their participation, but to ease the organisation of the meeting, confirm with how many people you are coming to Berlin. Send the information to the contact below. Please bring sleeping bags with yourself.

o 9am – 12noon arrival (Am Pulvertrum/Faulloch – for
sleepingplace-registration)
o 1 pm Memorial for the people who died at the european borders (start: Am Pulvertrum/Faulloch)
o 3 pm Opening with music, poetry and speeches
o 5 pm: Decentralized program ( concert, meetings, exhibitions, Theatre,etc )
o 10 pm: Live Concerts, Djs, Films etc
Saturday, 5. Juni:
o 10 - 12 am political Input (central)
o 1 pm – 3 pm Masquarede
o 3 pm decentral program
o decentral program on public places but also in galeries, cinemas ( main places: Am Pulverturm/ Fauloch; Theatervorplatz( Engelplatz) till 6 pm;
Ernst-Abbe-Platz, Holzmarkt; everything at the public places has to be guarded at night
o 10 pm: party/ relaxing
Sunday, 6. Juni:
o 10 am – 4 pm: Children festival and Percussion Jam Session
