Wenige Tage nach dem Mordanschlag in Pirsûs (Suruç) an eine Kobanê-Aufbaudelegation von Jugendlichen der SGDF durch ein mutmaßliches IS-Mitglied eskaliert die AKP-Regierung die Situation in der Türkei zunehmend. Fast 1000 kurdische, alevitische und revolutionäre AktivistInnen wurden bisher verhaftet. Trotz eines Waffenstillstandes bombardiert die türkische Luftwaffe wieder PKK-Stellungen in den Kandil-Bergen und setzt den Hauptverhandlungsführer des Lösungsprozesses auf kurdischer Seite, Abdullah Öcalan, einer Totalisolation aus.

In Kurdistan herrscht wieder Krieg:
Seit dem letzten Freitag bombardiert die Türkei PKK-Stellungen im Irak, schießt mit Panzern auf Kobanê und greift Stellungen der PKK in der Türkei an.
Der Staat verhaftet Tausende kurdische Aktivist_innen und türkische Linke, statt den IS im eigenen Land zu bekämpfen.
Bei Demonstrationen und Auseinandersetzungen mit der Polizei kamen bereits mehrere Menschen zu Tode.
Aufruf zur Solidarität mit Menschen die aus Krieg und Gewalt geflohen sind.
Vom 20. – 22. August 2015, fangen rund um den Bodensee die Aktionstage „Fluchtursachen bekämpfen, Waffenexporte stoppen!“ an.

From the August 20 to 22, 2015, the network Refugees for Refugees together with supporting groups, will be protesting and taking action in solidarity with all Refugees against the causes of flight – especially against the German weapon industry, concentrated around the lake of Constance! Together we want to show, that Germany, as one of the leading weapon producers in the world, has a responsibility towards the victims of war and conflict.
Türkei: IS-Massaker in Suruc
Deutschland: Festnahme von Ahmet C. wegen Terrorismusvorwurfs
Bei einer schweren Explosion in der Stadt Pirsûs (türk.: Suruc) nahe der syrischen Grenze wurden in den frühen Mittagsstunden mindestens 30 Menschen getötet und Dutzende Menschen verletzt. Nach Angaben der kurdischen Nachrichtenagentur ANF soll ein Selbstmordattentäter des IS diesen Anschlag auf eine Versammlung der Föderation der Sozialistischen Jugendverbände der Türkei verübt haben. Etwa 300 Jugendliche waren im Kulturzentrum Amara zusammengekommen, um über den Wiederaufbau der durch die IS-Terroristen zerstörten Stadt Kobanê zu diskutieren und anschließend dorthin zu reisen. Bereits auf dem Weg zu diesem Treffen war es zu Provokationen und Festnahmen durch Polizeikräfte gekommen.
Peer Exchange of African Communities for Empowerment (P.E.A.C.E) is a network and platform for peer exchange of scientific, academic and societal issues concerning Africans aimed at empowering, giving back to the Community (GiBaCo) and fighting "Brain Drain" in our African Communities.
Part of the challenge is also to train Community members on how to document and analyse the impacts of their engagement.
