The increasing horrors of deportation confronting migrants and Refugees in Europe necessiates a constant platform for exchange amongst Refugees and Asylum seekers.
Although numerous events against deportation exist at different levels, there is the need for affected persons to inform, network and connect themselves with the existing resistance against the brutal deportation practices.
The workshop is meant to address vast issues on EU Asylum policies which we intend to address in two aspects:

we are calling on the responsible authority in schwabisch gmund to cancel all penalty charges against refugees in regard to Residencpflicht (right not to move)

One year Lampedusa in Hamburg – No Peace for the Senate of Hamburg!
Demonstration der Gruppe "Lampedusa in Hamburg" am 01. März 2014
On 1st of March 2014, refugees from NATO war in Lybia at Hamburg, have a demonstration to open a new perspective of their political struggle for their right to stay in Hamburg. After one year of protest their demands are still ignored by the Senate of Hamburg. Poiliticans and mass media strongly try to avoid to get in the topic of western wars as the cause for receiving refugees in their countries.
The group Lampedusa in Hamburg, witnesses of NATO war in Lybia, wants to open new way into truth and show the role of Germany in exporting wars and militarization to other countries, in reality.
Lampedusa in Hamburg, denied to enter the trap of German’s Asyl system, knowing very well about the treatment of refugees with special laws, the isolation in the Lagers, the restriction of movement by the so called Residenzpflicht, and the daily terror by the deportation machine.
