Relative to our call and press declaration of refugee’s self-organizations “Flüchtlingsinitiative Wittenberg, the Voice Refugee Forum and The Caravan for the right of refugees and migrants, we, refugees from Wittenberg, Friedersdorf and Marke including others from different local government of Sachsen-Anhalt strongly shared one opinion to denounce the responsible authorities on behalf of the treatments of refugees in Bitterfeld.

Wir, die Flüchtlingsselbstorganisation Flüchtlingsinitiative Wittenberg, the Voice Refugee Forum und der Karawane für die Rechte der Flüchtlinge und Migrat_innen teilen als Flüchtlinge aus Wittenberg, Friedersdorf, Marke mit weiteren Aktivist_innen aus Sachsen-Anhalt eine Ansicht, die Behandlung der Flüchtlinge durch die verantwortlichen Bitterfelder Behörden anprangern zu müssen, wie wir bereits in unserer Pressemitteilung und dem Aufruf zur Demonstration erklärten.

Int’l migrants’ court finds 37 States guilty of modern-day slavery - Manila Tribunal

Migrante International - 29 November 2012. The first ever International Migrants’ Tribunal found 37 migrant-sending and -receiving States, including the Philippines, guilty of perpetuating modern-day slavery on migrant workers. The Tribunal was held at the University of the Philippines College of Law on November 28-29. It was attended by at least 300 delegates from the Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, Australia, Latin America and United States.
