Residenzpflicht (Asylverfahrensgesetz)

Die Residenzpflicht nach dem deutschen Asylverfahrensgesetz ist eine Vorschrift, die es einem Menschen verbietet, den jeweils zugewiesenen Bezirk der Ausländerbehörde zu verlassen. Das Übertreten der Grenze des Bezirks der Ausländerbehörde bedroht der deutsche Staat mit einer Freiheitsstrafe bis zu einem Jahr. Rechtsgrundlagen für die Residenzpflicht sind § 56 und § 85 Abs. 2 des Asylverfahrensgesetzes.
