Am 4. Dezember 2012 wird die 1. Strafkammer des Landgerichts Magdeburg die Beweisaufnahme im Revisionsprozess zum Verbrennungstod Oury Jallohs im Polizeigewahrsam abschließen. Nach 22 Monaten und mehr als 60 Verhandlungstagen werden die Fragen nach dem Brandausbruch weiterhin unbeantwortet bleiben.

The International MIGRANTS Alliance Europe section strongly condemns the police brutality of the German police against refugee-protesters and their advocates, and the arrest of about 30 of them, while holding a protest at the Nigerian embassy in Berlin, today October 15, 2012.
The refugees and their advocates are justly protesting the Nigerian government's role in the brutal deportations of African Refugees, and demand the cancellation of all deportation agreements with the German State.

Racial Profiling Reloaded
Racial Profiling describes a police practice which has so far been denied officially by the government and its institutions. : Racial profiling consists of deliberately targeting people on grounds of their race/ethnicity/religion; a practice which can be observed often – on the streets, in public transport, in parks and shopping centres – and has just recently been declared legal by the district court in Koblenz in a lawsuit.
Am 29.10. findet um 13:30 die Verhandlung in Koblenz statt. Die ISD plant eine Aktion mit Infotischen vor Ort. Die zweite Instanzverhandlung soll als Anlass genutzt werden, um die Problematik weiter zu bearbeiten und in der Öffentlichkeit bekannt zu machen. Dazu brauchen wir Eure Unterstützung.
