Usman G., Aktivist des Refugee Struggle for Freedom, sitzt aufgrund des rassistischen Residenzpflichtgesetzes seit 7 Wochen in Untersuchungshaft. Er geriet am 21.01.2015 in eine rassistische Polizeikontrolle am Hauptbahnhof, kurz nachdem am Münchner Stachus das Protestzelt von Refugee Struggle for Freedom aufgeschlagen wurde. Daraufhin wurde Usman festgenommen:
The so called Residenzpflicht Law – or better the German Apartheid Law – that is said to be abolished since last year still exists in this Democratic State of Law in Germany and still is executed.
This law that postulates ristrictions to the right of free movement of refugees is a racist law and we highly denounce it.

Miloud L. Cherif is politically persecuted in Germany. Since 2010 he has been under racist repression by the severe German discriminative rules with continuous threats of deportation and imprisonment because of the violation of Residenzpflicht that restricts the freedom of movement of refugees to their isolation lager and camps.

Alain Nkurunziza lives in the Wolfsburg refugee lager since 2007, in March 2011 in Frankfurt a.M. was target of a racial profiling control. Brought to court for breaking Residenzpflicht, he protest to oppose in civil disobedience against the racist law. Threatened with two weeks imprisonement he answered " I don't understand why I have to pay... Freedom of movement is a fundamental right." Solidarity is our weapon.
