On July 3 to 5 the International Migrant Alliance organises its second assembly in Manila, Philippines. The network of the CARAVAN for the rights of refugees and migrants and THE VOICE Forum have prepared a magazine as their contribution to the second assembly. The Rally was organized by the Break Isolation Network and it symbolized a starting point of preparation for the demonstration on Saturday 22.10.2011 in Erfurt.
Verhindert die Abschiebung von Smart Imafidon!
Am nächsten Mitwoch, dem 29. Juni, plant die Bundespolizei, den 18-jährigen Flüchtling Smart Imafidon über Düsseldorf und Wien nach Nigeria abzuschieben. Bei dem Flug handelt es sich nach unseren Informationen – mindestens ab Wien – um eine im Rahmen der EU koordinierte Sammelabschiebung, mit der mehrere Menschen unter Polizeibegleitung nach Lagos abgeschoben werden sollen.
Beschluss zu neuem Asylbewerberheim vertagt
Meiningen - Der Kreistag Schmalkalden-Meiningen hat am Donnerstagabend den Beschluss zum Umbau des ehemaligen Verwaltungsgebäudes in Zella-Mehlis zu einer Gemeinschaftsunterkunft für ausländische Flüchtlinge von der Tagesordnung genommen. Einen entsprechenden Antrag hatte die SPD-Fraktion gestellt.
